Reference lines ,curves etc.

Hi,

i recently started with inventor and faced this prob ; consider i'm having a bunch of lines and curves points etc in some sketch , now i start with a new sketch in a parallel (or perpendicular plane) then how to use (all) those lines/curves as a reference for my new drawing ..(for those who used pro/e :we can define such lines etc as references in pro/e )
