Binding xref in 2008

I have a minor Xref Binding problem.

 

Currently still working in 2008 and we are unable to bind several drawings.

However we are able to bind using 2004.

 

Go figure.

Any ideas on where to look to solve this problem.

Can you expand on exactly what the problem is?

 

I'm using Acad Mechanical 2008, and have no problems. I type XREF at the command line, right click on the file I want to bind and select bind...works every time.

Try typing "classicxref" in the command line and then select your xrefs and press bind. After this use the explode command.

With MEP I have been having alot of problems binding external references because the external references manager says they need to be reloaded all the time.

 

The way I get around this is by typing "-xref" "b" "*" to bind all external references, or you can select/name them.
