christreeroot
Hi my ribbon has gone from the top of the scrreen leaving me a message "the ribbon does not have any tabs or panels currently loaded. I sorted this out last time by doing a quick reinstall but to no avail this time.. Any advice would be great..... Thanks in advance
rkent
In the CUI in the upper left pick the current workspace or the one you wish to use, go to the right and pick the customize workspace button, now go back to the left side, under Ribbon open the tabs tree, probably nothing is checked so check the tabs you want to show, go back to the right and pick the Done button, then OK at the bottom to get out of CUI. If this works then in the workspaces dialog saveas to the same name and have it override. Now you may want to add the workspace name to your shortcut icon so everytime you start autocad the workspace is loaded. You add that in the Target line after all the other items in there. The switch for work spaces will look like "/W My-Ribbon". Don't use the quotes and the my-ribbon will be the name of your workspace.
