Hi all I was hoping you could help me we have a current layout form that we use for autoCAD but it just a drawn out border with boxes which we have to manually create and write text into I dont think this looks very professional compared to drawings we receive from suppliers & customers see below, with the customers layout you can click on a box to edit and a list pops up and you can edit each field seperate. Is there a site to download these templates or do I need to create my own

It is fairly simple, open your current title block and use attdef command to add attributes. Make sure all the lines, attributes, text are in ModelSpace. Read up on attdef in help. Once you have the various attributes in place save or saveas the drawing. Now you will insert that titleblock into a new drawing and you will be able to edit the various text attributes like your customer drawings you mentioned.

So in your title block you have a place for Title. Leave that text in place. Create an attribute with attdef, follow the prompts, set the text height, style, justification, etc. to create the attribute that will go below the text Title. Continue on with all your boxes in the title block.

You should probably create your own, and it's really not that difficult. Look into this tutorial on creating a custom title block with attributes. Once you have the block created, add it to your drawing template and you should be all set.

I have looked at that tutorial and cant really so how I can do it as this is for inserting blocks onto different drawings ?
