Mason Dixon Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I'm new to autocad and am practicing with the basics on this drawing....I've got everything down except for the B/E1.1, A/E1.1 symbols in the middle and the(i'm guessing) symbol below - 2/E1.1. Are these stock symbols? If so, where can they be found, if not, how can I find/make/put them in my symbols list? Quote
LifeoRiley0 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Those are symbols referring to details on different sheets. I don't know if you have the ability to do sections, but in MEP the symbols are automatically placed when I do a section of an area. If it is not available then they are not hard to make. Quote
Eatonpcat Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I attached what I use for section cuts, you can modify if you like. Insert into drawing and explode/edit attributes SCUT.dwg Quote
rkent Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Look no further than your tool palettes, find a tab for Annotation. Quote
Mason Dixon Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 Thanks rkent, the only tool palettes I can find in autocad 2009 is the tool palettes icon in the customization ribbon space under the tools tab. When I open it up I get a window that will only let me import/export or create/delete new palettes, i can't seem to find out how to view any pre-existing ones. Is there another way? Quote
