jfg Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I'm wondering if someone here can think of a better way of doing this. We have a bunch of mechanical dwg for each floor of each building. On the other hand we have one drawing with tables showing the panel/breaker numbers for some equipement on each floor of each building. What I need to do is show the table on each floor plan but only the part of the table that applies to that particular building/floor. The way its done now is that the table drawing is X-Ref'ed to each mech dwg and the X-Ref is xclip'ed to show only the relevant part of the table. It works fine but I'm just wondering if there's a better way to do this. Our ultimate goal is to have only one place to maintain as far as the breaker/panel table goes. thanks Quote
Danse_Macabre Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Depending on how your drawings are set up could you move the tables into the same drawing with the mechanical floor plans, then set up veiwports in paperspace that show only the part of the tabe that you need. Not sure if that is quite what you are after or not, but that is probably what I would do personally. Quote
jfg Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 Right now they each line of the table is a block with attribute (one for circuit and one for the equipment number). Quote
