profcad Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I can't seem to cut out the roof where the walls of the 2nd floor extrude up past the roof. what is the best way to accomplish this. See below. qbi Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 I think You have two ways 1st. Go to Modify----> openieng---->opening by face, mark roof draw the lines and finnish 2nd. Go to the family create an void extrusion ( with demand size) form Genreric face based family, load it into the project and add to the roof.
