BillB Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Hello Again, I seem to get this message a lot this morning "Constraint can not find Component Reference", any ideas what this may refer to. I started out making a shaft with Design Accelerator to go into another assembly. It would not accept the save for the shaft,,,, very weird. So I made the shaft in a "TEST" folder and it saved just fine, I copied the shaft design over to my working folder and saved. Any Ideas Guys?? BillB Quote
BillB Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 O.k,,, after working a little longer in iam and placing additional part in it, I can't get anything to constrain now without getting the previous message that I mentioned. Did something get corrupted or what? BillB Quote
BillB Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 O.k.,,, now I finally figured it out,,,,, jeeeeez, I had one mis-behaving constraint (so far) in the IAM and it wouldn't let me constrain anything else,,,,, feel like a dope, but I do have to remember that I have only been using Inventor for about two weeks now.
