Steward Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Hi I have just installed the trial version of AutoCAD 2010 but I cannot use it as all of the menu text and the text on the ribbon is unreadable. Has anyone had this problem and been able to solve it and if not can anyone tell me what the default font is for the menu/ribbon and if it is possible to change this as i beleive that may be the problem. I know this is a software/hardware question and not really what this site is for but waiting for Autodesk to get back to me will probably lead to me going mad. Many thanks in advance for any help S p.s. keep up the good work everyone as I have found this site to be very helpful on many occasions, even if I am not good enough to answer anyone else's questions yet. ReMark Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 What resolution is the monitor set to? Unreadable in what manner? Too small, too light, too fuzzy, other? Quote
Steward Posted July 2, 2009 Author Posted July 2, 2009 Hi ReMark I suppose this would have helped more in the first message, I have attached a sample screen shot. I am runing 1920x1200 screen res. Thanks Quote
ReMark Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Wow. I've never seen that before. Very interesting. Have you tried a Repair? Quote
Steward Posted July 2, 2009 Author Posted July 2, 2009 Tried that yesterday with no joy but IT have just installed it on another machine and it works fine. I think there must be some conflict with fonts so i will try a custom install and see if i can identify it. I'll let you know how that works out. Quote
ReMark Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Thank you for the update Steward. Good luck. Please keep us posted. Quote
Lee Mac Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Could be related to this thread - shame there was no answer though: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=32870 Quote
