gsksun4 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 2009LT. I put a tool up top in the main toolbar for the osnap settings and now they don't work. Snapmode is on. The settings are checked "ON" in the "DSETTINGS" window, but I can't snap to endpoint, quadrant etc. Thoughts? SNAPMODE was on, but not OBJECT SNAP. Problem fixed, but I'm wondering what the purpose is for SNAPMODE. Quote
ReMark Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Straight from AutoCAD Help file: Snapmode Turns the Snap mode on and off. The settings are... 0 - Snap off. 1 - Snap on for the current viewport. Quote

SNAPMODE must mean snap to a grid, because OBJECT SNAP sets it on for endpoint, midpoint, center, etc. If I turn off OBJECT SNAP, I can't snap a line to an endpoint etc., even if the SNAPMODE is on. ReMark Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 True. You just asked what the purpose of Snapmode was. I answered. Is there still a problem you are encountering or are we good to go? Quote
