Coosbaylumber Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 What is command title that can be typed in at keyboard such that I can get a listing or array of LINETYPES in currently opened up drawing. I tried "LT" and "Linetype", got a Duhh? Does not say anything in my manual also. But is does explain how to use STYLE and that works easy enough. Says similar functions are also possible, but what they are I dunno. I figure am using wrong command line. Wm. Quote
ReMark Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I'm running 2009 and the command that brings up the Linetype Manager with all the pertinent info (drumroll please) is linetype. Quote
StevenMc Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 you could try the ALIASEDIT and create your own for it. Quote

I tried that and all Acad said was Unrecognised Command. Also tried Ltype, and linet and only got Duhhh... Wm. Quote
ReMark Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Seems a bit improbable. Try using an underscore in front of it like this _linetype. Quote
lpseifert Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Does the Linetype Manager work if you invoke it from the Format menu? just for the heck of it, try .linetype (note period) if that doesn't work, a repair may be in order Quote
Coosbaylumber Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 Well, now. That certainly is a change. Tried the prefix of dash and hyphen. Got same old, Duhh? Tried the prefix of DOT and came up with new menu. Asked if I wanted to load up a known linetype, or create one, etc. Boy Genious loaded up a center5 linetype, and I kept getting a substitution error message. Sort of Not in standard linetype list. I have a deep feeling that he has modifyed things in to something totally different that others around here. I need to copy his linetypes for am using a pen plotter, and once run, it does not understand a screen image, but looks to other places for certain information, unlike raster type printers. Wm. Quote
