raj_eshnath Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I'm using Autocad-2004. I can't select position of light, measurement of colour of light. How I select position of light according to axis? Quote
nocturne00 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 is it sunlight or point light? sunlight can be positioned be adjusting the azimuth and altitude, i think its just under the SUN command. for the lights i think you can just drag it around. its easier if you have something to snap its position onto, like a point or something Quote

I used direct light for sun light with acad 2004! maybe im a bit rusty on 2004 , but i seem to remember lighting that was being set using azimuth and altitude(was that direct light?) then there was ambient light, w/c was general lighting, set it very low for night scene and gradually higher for dusk/dawn to broad daylight scenes Quote

nocturne00 Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 :)Right mate ...you are so clever guy in light! lol learned it from reading your posts hehe! is it just me or is the OP not even trying to explore the light command. its all there, from selection of light type, to color, to intensity, to direction of light. after doing those then you could position them on the model space either manually( "dragging them on model space" ) onto w/c position you want it placed near or far from your object or inputting coordinates in the dialog box.
