Drengi Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Recently had to re-install Autocad 2000. Various problems all sorted now. Dame Mircosoft and my itchy click yes to all finger Anyway I decided to house keep all my blocks a little more so I've filed them away nice and neat. When I added some Support File Search Paths in the "Option" dialogue box in the file tab I lose all the Render and Image commands (such as insert and image manager) I get the "Unknown Command" Error. I've 18 (so 23 intotal including 5 default Cad ones ) folders to add to the search paths. Is there a limit to the amount of paths you can add? As when I get to the 13th of my additions thats when the errors kick in. Any suggestions? Quote

ReMark Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Nice one lpseifert. It's right up there with too many characters in a path. Quote

ReMark Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 It's an idiom. See... http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idioms/even+a+blind+squirrel+finds+a+nut+once+in+a+while.html Quote
lpseifert Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Ineffective and misguided? I resemble that! Quote
Drengi Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 I'm glad you did lpseifert Was totally pulling my hair. Had reinstalled it twice after the initital reinstall. I was even pestering friends on it to no availe. I've rewritten the paths using shorter structures and it's working fine. I must have changed something from the first install that threw everthing out. Thanks again Quote
