lowqiumei
Hi, i have a question here, I am working on a product here and i am using AutoCad to do my modeling. I have drew out my product model and i am wondering if there is a function that allows me to give me exploded view of the product. Is there such function for AutoCad, I know ProE has got this function what about Autocad 2008???

wkplan
Here's one. not for free, but cheap: Take a look at acadapps / com and search for 3dburst They have a demo-version too, i used it under acad2005 and it worked well for me. regards Wolfgang
ReMark
wkplan: Re: 3DBurst. The latest version written was for AutoCAD 2007. The OP is using 2008. Might he have a problem? I see versions for 2004 through 2006 too. Maybe do a "save as" down to 2004 file format and try 3DBurst on that? Does the trial version have any limitations? wkplan
Remark: I think this tool is worth give it a try. acad2008 should run code for acad2007... "Saveas" will shurely not change the way the program works, but it may give you the option to run the program on a machine with older release installed. Yes, the trial version has limitations: you can run the programm and any of it options only once per drawing... - Just work with another file copy As I take a look again on this website, I noticed it wasn't updated for a long time. I posted this link, because I couldn't remember any other program which provides the same function. Surely "big vertical apps" are much more convenient, but to me this is a BTN (BetterThanNothing) application. Because the trial version is free of charge, I recommend just give it a try, test ist with a save copy of your file and see if it works. regards Wolfgang
