ReMark
Did you check the Inventor tutorials at forum member and Inventor guru J.D. Mather's website? He's the man when it comes to that kind of stuff.

JD Mather
still cant figure it Step 13 & 14 (combined into one command - extrude in Inventor) http://home.pct.edu/~jmather/content/CAD238/AutoCAD%202007%20Tutorial%204.pdf Can't be many things easier in Inventor. or You can do exactly how it is done out on the shop floor - Revolve an angled tool with cut option around axis. If you can't figure out either method zip and attach what you have so far.
kencaz
Found the site but still cant figure it, guess im gonna have a late night You can either revolve a sketch profile of the bolt with the fillet then extrude a hexagon using intersect which will give you something like this: Or, you can extrude a circle profile the desired height (in yellow), then add the fillet to your feature after, then again, extrude your hexagon using intersect. Then add either bit mapped threads or cut your own. hope this helps. KC
