arjun_samar Posted August 1, 2009 Share Posted August 1, 2009 to all masters of autocad.... i saw this image the logo of acad 2010.. and it has waters at the bottom.... and ive tried to do the same thing the water effect.. but i just cant get it right... you can notice that the reflection of the building to the water is jagged and this gives a realistic look,, how do i do that? sorry for im locking of knowledge in this.... thanks in advance.. hope someone help!!!! omid_221 Posted August 1, 2009 Share Posted August 1, 2009 1-setup your lighting system .(day light)+finall gather 2-nake a new material (whit in realsitic category select water) 3-go to the bump map and put noise map on it 4-in noise map select fractal reduce the size 5-if you want more complex water wave put another noise instead of black or with water.... I try doing it, create 2 different box with almost similar like yours, but at the end, both are look the same (both look like water)?? how do I create water as water and building as building?? wandyhee Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 ok, basicly I manage to put different material on different object, I made mistake at first step by set the material as GLOBAL that's why all object look uniform in color/pattern. but still, I couldn't get the water features...
