Cad64 Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 I have renamed this thread to something more appropriate. "Help" isn't very descriptive. Also, it is not wise to post your email address on public forums, so I have removed it, for your own good. If someone can help, they will reply to this thread. Quote
malak Posted August 2, 2009 Author Posted August 2, 2009 oh , ok no problem ,, keep on the good job and I wish to find what I'm looking for here Quote
decipherd Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Strange request.. what is it for? I'm sure most people's work here will belong to their clients but you may be lucky.. Quote
Cad64 Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Take a look at this site: http://www.designbasics.com/plan/search_comp.asp. They don't supply .dwg files, but they do have many different floorplans for you to browse through, if you're looking for ideas. What exactly do you need .dwg's for anyway? Quote
nukecad Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 I think he wants you to draw the plans of his house for him. What do you charge? $1000 per hour? Quote
JoeC Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Check in your Autocad "sample" folder. In some versions you will find a house plan. Quote
Geoffers Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Strange request.. what is it for? I'm sure most people's work here will belong to their clients but you may be lucky.. I believe, legally in the UK, the copyright of a design for a specific site rests with the Designer but the Client has licence to use it on that site. Obviously a formal agreement can alter this basic situation. The 'designer' working in an organisation does not have the copyright, that rests with the 'designer's' employer.... Quote
ReMark Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 The views (front, back and sides) you refer to are called elevations. There are companies that deal in selling house plans where you can buy "blue prints". Are you willing to pay for such plans? This almost sounds like a final project for some class. Is it? Quote
malak Posted August 3, 2009 Author Posted August 3, 2009 Thanks guys for your replays... I'm looking for a plan because I have a final project to make.. I study architectural engineering , It doesn't matter if the plan wasn't a .dwg file .. pictures well be fine Thanks again Quote
ReMark Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Why not design one yourself from scratch? It would be good practice for the future. Quote
