My boss has an error when trying to edit Mtext.

[eg. "EM-3 W/ FABRICATED

STEEL BEAM HANGER W/

(2) 3/4" THRU BOLTS."]

When he goes to edit it, it puts 3 or 4 more spaces in between the "(2)" and the "3/4". Then if he uses backspace to delete the spaces, it erases all the spaces and the "(2)" as well with one hit of the Backspace button. It happens in other cases as well, possibly relating to the @ symbol.

We both have Acad 2007, and I can open the same file and not have the problem. I've never had this problem. It's also happening on multiple drawing files for him.

Any suggestions?
