stockers Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Hello all, I use a particular dynamic block to produce drawings with a variety of different beam lengths. It makes drawing a lot quicker and easier. However, I email my drawings to the client in dwg format but don't want them to be able to use the dynamic blocks. Is there a way I can convert the dynamic block to normal block? or lock them? or disable the functionality? Any help is appreceitated! Thanks Quote
Ryder76 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 You could explode them which would remove the dynamic aspect. Quote

Ryder76 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Try BURST instead of explode. It will explode your block and attributes to text. You can also search in the CUI for "Explode Attributes to Text" Quote

I have attached it here. db2sb.zip Quote
dbroada Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 another possible way would be to save it as a lower release. I don't know if the dynamic properties would return if it was then opened in a more suitable release though. Quote
