fillet in 3D???

i am a new user of autocad. i want to know about to "fillet" in 3D surface. i want to know about to fillet a corner of a solid rectangle block. and also want to know about to fillet the whole single face of pyramid solid.

 

can i use "fillet" in 3D surface??

 

hoping to get solution.

you can use fillet on two lines that are no connected, on polylines and on 3d solids. There are limitations. You cant fillet an edge that does not have enough room to complete the fillet. For instance if you drew a line that was from (0,0) to (0,.4) to (.4,.4) you could not apply a .5" radius fillet because there isnt enough line(someone correct me if im wrong).

 

It would help to know what kinds of things you are drawing. Here is a simple cube. I drew a cube that was 5x5x5. Type FILLET, R>enter, 1.0(for the radius)>enter, it will prompt you to select an edge, i select one edge i wish to fillet>enter, it prompts you for the radius, if you did not enter it previously you can enter it here>enter, Then you have another option to Chain/Radius or enter. Press C>enter and select other edges you wish to chain together with this fillet. I selected all the edges of my box(dashed lines) except the bottom square.
