jkiox Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 hi, ive been using shell commands on older version of autocad like 2004 and 2007 but with this 2009 i cant make use of it. an error message displays of "NO SOLUTION FOR A VERTEX" displays in the command prompt. is there something wrong with the installation or there are still some secret technique that i need to learn? even a simple cube does not shell out even for a single face. help me please.. SEANT Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 One possible reason: As determined in this thread, objects have to be within a reasonable distance to the WCS origin to be correctly processed by AutoCAD’s Solid Modeler. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=31061 Quote
jkiox Posted August 8, 2009 Author Posted August 8, 2009 thanx.it works.i never thought of that.why does it have to be like that.i tried moving the ucs but it wont work til i move the object near the wcs.it's quite ironic but if that's the only way then better than doing more complex subtracting and rotating... thanx..
