wastewater Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I am needing help figuring out how to get a image that is pasted into a drawing to rotate when everything else is rotated around it. I can provide an example if needed. But I hope what I have stated explains what I am looking for. 1. A image is pasted into a drawing. 2. Some times the image is used in landscape view some times its used in portrait view. 3. When it is rotated to go to the other view the autocad text around the image is rotated but the image stays the same. 4. text and image are in a block (if this matters). Thanks Quote
Danse_Macabre Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 In order to rotate the image you need to turn on the image frame. So if you type in IMAGEFRAME you will get the choice between 3 settings, 0,1,2. 0 = no frame around images. 1 = frames are displayed and plotted. 2 = frames are displayed in the dwg but not plotted. If you activate the image frame you should be able to select it, and thus rotate it with everything else. Hopefully this helps. Quote
wastewater Posted August 17, 2009 Author Posted August 17, 2009 I turned on the frame but it still will not rotate. It always stays in the upright position. any other help would be great. Quote
SPARKY77 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Instead of pasting the image in the drawing insert it and you will be able to rotate it. use IMAGEATTACH or go to the insert tab Quote
