Hide parts of blocks

DWG Destroyer

Hey,

I've come across a drawing file that bears a block that contains more than first anticipated. It seems as though someone has taken a drawing and thrown a wipeout over part of it and then blocked the lot, but after some interrogation it appears that this is not the case. Can someone tell me what is going on in the attached .dwg file?? I'd love to get to the bottom of this.

Cheers!

Set your system variable XCLIPFRAME to a value of 1, and REGEN the file.

You will see a white rectangle around the block.

Select the block, and you will see an arrow at the midpoint of the bottom line of the rectangle. Select this and it will toggle everything inside the rectangle off and everything outside the rectangle on.

Type XCLIP then DELETE and it will show all the block. :D

ReMark

I can see where using XCLIPFRAME could really mess with a person's mind.
