Longchamp Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 I've got these surveyor points and the text is hilariously oversized. Is there any way to reduce the text size without exploding everything? edit: Exploding it doesn't work anyway Quote
ReMark Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 So you're looking to globally reduce the size of all text or just that of the survey points? Quote

ScribbleJ Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 what kind of points are they?if you list them, what does it say? I'd be willing to bet they are AEC points created in Land Development or possibly Civil 3D. Either way the only way to resize w/o exploding them is with the software used to create them. Quote

Longchamp Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Thanks for all the advice everyone. Ideally, i'd just like to reduce the size of the surveyor text, but a reduction of all text would also work. Each point has 3 lines of text but they're lost when i explode the block. The text goes from the data to just the type. For example, it'll go from 423 118.2 E/ OF RIPRAP to POINT ELEV DESC Here's a LIST from one of the points. I'm not sure what they were created with. alanjt Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 this can easily be fixed in code, but i noticed that the points have an X and Y value of 48. why not just scale them down. you can select them and change the X,Y through the properties menu. if this doesn't work, give a shout. we can work something.
