Irritating highlight feature needs to be disabled?

Hi,

 

We have a problem with 3d models constantly highlighting when selected or passed over by the mouse cursor, dose anybody know if and then hens how we could switch this off. The function slows down the drawing process to an irritating extent particularly with higher detailed models:(.

Go Tools > Options > Selction tab and un-click the boxes under Selction Preview. You can also click Visual Effects Settings and change em around.
