happytriger2000 Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Hi, I'm finding difficulty editing drawings in Solview hope anyone could give me a hand, thx. When I finished a 3d object I would goto Layout, use Solview command to display the Front, side and Top views and apply Soldraw to show hidden layers then add dimensions to the object projeced to all 3 views. I realise when I forget adding holes or need to edit the object after doing Solview command , I tried editting the 3d object in "Model" mode (Model---Layout 1----Layout2) and I expected that all 3 views in Layout1 would update the edited object, but nothing changed in Layout1 , the Front, Side and Top view remained the same as before, unchanged, Is there anyway to automatically update the object in Layout1 after having edited the object in Model mode? ReMark Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Once you have extracted the 2D geometry using SolDraw you can't go back and edit your solid and expect to see the changes reflected. Quote
