Gno Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Sup guys!! Is there anyway possible to design a functional conveyor belt(treadmill) on Inventor? Ive searched and search but found nothing. Does AI have such capabilities? I made one by sketching the loop (belt) then extruded the sketch. but it was only useful for visualizing belt on the two roller shafts that i have. The only thing i can think of would be to break the belt down into individual flats, then then constraining each flat edge to edge, then to the rollers using rotational translation,Tangent. I really would appreciate some advice on this. Quote

Gno Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 I plan on having one of the rollers/shaft/wheel coupled to a gearbox to drive the belt, while the second roller freespins on a bearing. Definitly want to be able to animate and simulate I appreciate the help Quote
