I have been asked to work out the angles needed for the flashings that go in the valleys and on the hips of the roofs. Ive been told its dyhedral, but i havnt got a clue how to work it out as its been years since ive done it. Could sum1 please help me with this task:oops:. Excuse the huge dimensions etc, this drawing is ofr company use, not for client. cheers-dave Copy of Drawing 1.dwg Quote
GarryOMahony Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Here's a spreadsheet I wrote for calculating these angles. Just enter the 2 roof slopes in the 2 "yellow" cells and the hip/valley angle is calcuated. HipAngle.zip Quote
