ibnut Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Is there a way to set an embedded block to match the orientation of the layout? Or lock the orientation of a specific block? For example, I have triangle block inside of a square block. What I'd like to do is rotate the square block, but have the triangle always right-side up. I've tried making the triangle block annotative with "match orientation to layout" set but with no luck. The triangle will flip right-side up if I explode the square block, but I'd like to not have to do that. Quote

Not the best solution, but it's an idea. Could be accomplished with a little code. Quote
ibnut Posted September 22, 2009 Author Posted September 22, 2009 Thanks for the suggestion, but with groups I won't be able to insert the final block (square + triangle) into another drawing. Quote
