Alex Beardshaw Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 I have a block in my drawing that I wish to align with an angled line, does anyone know how to do this please ? I am using LT 2009 Quote
ReMark Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Obtain the line's angle. Rotate your block accordingly. Unless LT has an ALIGN command? Does it? Quote
alanjt Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 If not, rotate has a reference option: Command: r ROTATE Current positive angle in UCS: ANGDIR=counterclockwise ANGBASE=0 Select objects: Specify opposite corner: 1 found Select objects: Specify base point: Specify rotation angle or [Copy/Reference] <0>: r Specify the reference angle <0>: Specify second point: Specify the new angle or [Points] <0>: Quote

ReMark Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Type ALIGN at the command line or look in your Help files. Quote
Coosbaylumber Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 There are about six or eight ways to do what you are thinking. Easy One-step ways, and then those that require some thinking, but little beyond what you already know. The later system may require a few more steps, but nothing to memorise also. I have done it several ways, and what you retain and use near once per week is the system that will make an impression in your brain. There may be a quicker-faster way, but are you going to use it enough times to retain the thought? Wm. Quote
