I have been having issues with my new computer for a while now, since moving companys and getting 2010 I have had issues with freezing layers xrefed into my drawing. When I freeze/turn off the layers of the xref, save the drawing and then close it, I come back andall the layers I in the xref are back on... its driving me crazy! I have tried turning it off and locking each layer in layer manager and I cannot keep them frozen/turned off! and if freeze/turn off the layer in the actual xref it messes up other drawings that share the xref. please help!
