john551 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Hi, I'm relatively new to Autocad civil 3d 2009 and trying the tutorials built into the software's help guide. I am able to open the tutorial dwg drawing example files but many of the tutorials talk about using the sections menu or the corridors menu or Analysis menu or all kinds of menus that I don't seem to have. My ribbon shows Home/Blocks & References/Annotate/Tools/View/Ouput/Vault. I am trying to learn about mass haul diagrams and making roads etc and no clue where these menus are supposed to be. I tried typing in cui (not sure if that has anything to do with this) and I get an error message that says unable to open c:\program files\autodwg\pdfin pdf to dwg converter\pdfimport.cui. For some reason the cui for civil 3d is referencing to this small pdf-dwg converter program I installed a while ago. However, even before using this pdf-dwg software none of the aforementioned menus existed. help! John Quote
john551 Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 After that error message goes away the cui interface opens up and is from C:\Users\janderson\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\C3D 2009\enu\support\acad.cui and I can edit the ribbon and other menus and a ton of other stuff but nothing about corridors or sections or analysis etc. Quote
