gotchy
How are the points and handles deleted after a sketch is completed using the Spline Tool, in solidworks 2007? If I try to delete them, they distort the sketch, even though the sketch is dimensioned and thereby constrained. gotchy
shift1313
why are you trying to delete handles? are we talking about 2d splines or 3d splines? Typically when creating splines you use as few control points as possible. Draw a spline with two points only(start/end) and adjust the handles(this is 2d we are talking about). if you cant achieve the curve you want, add a point and so on. This removes excess control points which only complicates things. If you select the spline while in edit sketch mode there is a button to reset handles(current or all). how are you dimensioning the spline?
