Hi All,

What is the best / quickest way to create custom text on a "double arc" as shown in the attachment?

The attachment is exploded, and it was probably custom made. This can't be done with any of the express text tools, can it?

Thanks!

Looks like you have your work cut out for you. The only two Express Tools text-related commands I can think of are Arc-Aligned Text and Explode Text. Maybe using both you can approximate what you have shown us in the arc text.dwg you included above. If you get it worked out come back and educate us on how you accomplished the task. It should make for good reading.

I was thinking express tools as ReMark stated however, I couldn't view your drawing. I frequently use arc aligned text.

Keep in mind not all forum members have newer versions of AutoCAD.

I always save to vs. 2000 for my clients or if I post a drawing in a forum.

Attached is my attempt using MS Word (saved in version 2000 for tankman :)). This was much simpler than I expected as I was trying to create it from scratch in Acad!

First time I've been "storked", blue heron's usually just raid my Koi pond.

Creating STORK in AutoCAD would have been at best, an all day chore.

For one word, a fairly heavy file too!

Excellent link NBC! Thanks! That was just peachy don't you think JoeC?

Peachy indeed Tankman...I'll save this one for future reference.

Oh, and by the way...My company name is Stork Food Systems, so "Stork" wasn't just a random word I thought up for the drawing!!
