Nick-H-
You could set auto publish to plot to pdf as seperate files. All you do is set it up to a specified folder. select pdf plot. plot on close. Open a drawing and close it again and it will plot all the tabs to the folder you have specified. Now we are getting deep ha! I feel a serious lack of autocad knowledge compared to you guys. what do you mean by this
stevsmith
Auto publish is quite easy to understand. Try doing the following; Tools> Options> Plot & Publish> Automatic Publish Settings Autopublish Options Publish on = Close Location = {specify where you want to publish} Include = {in this case layouts} General PDF/Dwf Options File format = PDF Type = Single Sheet Layer information = Do not Include Merge Control = Lines Overwrite DWF Data options Cancell all these options. hit ok and make sure the Automatic publish box is checked. Click Apply and exit the options menu. Open a drawing, click save, close the drawing and auto publish will automatically plot all the layout tabs to single files into the directory specified under AutoPublish options as described earlier I hope, lol... stevsmith
Oh and can I just add that you dont have to have a page setup configuration to do this, eg portrait and landscape. It always prints to extents and rotates the page accordingly.

stevsmith
Every time you close a drawing it will print all the tabs to a pdf if you have set it up the way i have shown. Remember to only open the drawings you need to pdf, if you open a random file, and close it, it will pdf that flie as well. You may want to set publish on = prompt on close. stevsmith
mmm. I would think 2007 had autopublish. Press f1 to bring up the help menu and do a search for autopublish.

chelsea1307
Checked autodesk website and AUTOPUBLISH came out in 2008, seems like 2008 was the year for a bit of an overhaul on publishing ability
