SAM_R
I'm using Auto Cadd 2008, and in a project I'm working in when I bring in a block from my tool palettes I get this pop up "This application has detected a mixed version of AEC objects participating in this operation. Newer AEC objects will be disallowed from participating in this operation." My question is what are AEC objects and how do I get this to stop coming up? Thank you for any help. Glen Smith
AEC objects are apparently created with Autocad Architecture or Autocad MEP. If you have a copy of either of these packages, you have no problems (other than learning to work with those packages). Since you do not have Architecure or MEP, you may be facing a problem. What is the source of the blocks that are causing the problem? Are they in-house blocks? Can you recreate them? I don't see how they could have AEC elements unless they were created with Arch or MEP. Good luck Glen
SAM_R
They are in house blocks. But that warning also comes up if I copy text from another drawing.
