rocneasta Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Ok i'll try to explain it as clearly as possible btw this is my first post here so hi all. I tried to sweep an object, and after 10 tries and 2 shutting down the acad in the process tree, i registered on the forum in search for an answer basically i made a shape somewhat resembling a circle, made of lines and arcs - then PEDIT-ed them and joined them into a closed PL making my sweep path then i made a simple REC, rotate3D on it to make it perpendicular to the sweep path (i did it because i needed an angle on the path, not a purely perpendicular one) and after i did another rotate3D to tilt it a bit. The point of the tilt was to get an object that is has a smaller "diameter" at the top, than he does at the bottom. the object does not intersects it self, and i've tried defining base point of te sweep and turning off the alignment all failed miserably, BIGGEST problem being that i did almost similar solid 3 sec ago, only different proportions... any help would be appreciated sincerely, roc Quote
