drukkenpoepen Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Hey guys, I have 2 problems. Hope you can help me with this. (1) I'm trying to draw the earth. of course not literally, but by using a map of the planet used on a sphere, now I found these huge 128+ megapixel maps of the earth on the internet and it looks awesome what other people made. But when I give it a try, it doesn't show the true resolution on my screen, and I've tried 100's of ways of rendering but it doesn't improve the resolution. Even a 32MP map doesn't give the right resolution. Anyone know a solution? (2) The second problem i have is really makes me wish computers didn't exist so that I didn't know that they existed and so that I don't have the need to get joy out of using them, because this problem is really making me angry . When I try to render, it sometimes doesn't work. For instance i've drawn something, render it, and everything is ok. Then I zoom in a little, and all i get is a black screen. Zoom out again and it doesn't render either. Very.... very... very annoying. Can you imagine, working for weeks on drawings for my final school project, to find out you can't render it. Awe full. Same thing, I've tried everything, everything! but I can't find a connection why in one case it does render and in another case doesn't. It 'feels' like it is not rendering when the computer has to do a serious job. But I don't know if that's the problem and how to solve it. And I've search for hours on the internet for someone who has a similar problem. Guess what, No-one. Makes you feel like a higher power wants to tell you something:twisted:. Anyway hope anyone has a solution for my problem. Otherwise it felt good getting this of my chest. I guess my post is a bit long so many will skipped it, haha, otherwise Cheers. By the way I use AutoCAD 2008 and have a Viao laptop, specs: Intel core 2 duo proessor T9600 (2.80GHz) Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit) Ati mobility Radeon HD 4650 Graphics 6 GB memory Quote
