Lox Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Hi all, Im using the mr sky & sun tool to light my small animation, but it has the grey hazy line on the horizon which looks pretty average. Is there a way to alter this? I thought lowering the compass on the model might help but no, and i cant find any settings to do with the lighting location etc. Any help would be great Thanks Lox Quote
Cad64 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 How do you want to alter it? What are you trying to do? Have you checked out the Max Help files regarding mr Sun & Sky? Quote
Lox Posted October 20, 2009 Author Posted October 20, 2009 Im just trying to get rid of the gray, where the horizon mets the plane, i can move the plane but in the real model the block will be replaced with a house and trees etc I have to animate a camera moving around it and the gray horizon becomes very clear in some shots. Cad64 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 To get rid of that blurry grey band at the horizon, adjust the Blur amount under the "mr Sky Advanced Parameters" section in the Daylight System's Modifier panel. A setting of 0.0 will make the horizon completely sharp. Refer to the screenshot below. Quote
