CADStudent007 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Hi all, So I am setting up a template to turn in assignments for an AutoCAD class I am currently enrolled in. In this template I am using fields for certain text in the template. My question is how do I make a GDT symbol appear in a field? The symbol in question is the Angle symbol (U+201A), and I'm creating a Custom Property for the field to reference to. Typing in U+201A or \U+201A in the Value cell doesn't seem to make the symbol appear in the field. What should I do in order to make that symbol appear? Quote
Strix Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 If you type any of these instead, do you get a result? Quote
CADStudent007 Posted October 21, 2009 Author Posted October 21, 2009 I have typed in \U+201A (similiar symbol), but all I get is the \U+201A text, not the actual symbol. I'll try the \U+2220 code (from the link you replied with) tomorrow, see how that works out. Quote
Ollie8974 Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Open the Multiline Text, Text Formatting Window. On the right hand side click on the down arrow. A drop down menu will open. Click on symbol, another drop down menu will open. Select the symbol you want. The symbol will insert in the text field at the courser. Quote
