jeepmanblair Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to have the tangent of an arc as an extension (a dynamic line that follows the tangent in real time-a visual aid) when drawing polylines with arc sections? It would be nice to see where the line is heading before it's too late (after a 'click' to make a point). I''m building a road from survey points along the center and am having a hard time getting a nice flowing center line that doesn't overshoot the corners. If I could SEE that a straight section (tangent of an arc) at the end of the arc (a corner) will intersect and be co-linear the center line WHILE i'm drawing it would go very quick. What a mouthful!! Maybe my technique is wrong?? Any input would be greatl Quote
