bjenk8100 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Hello All, Does anyone know how to make joints at intersecting lines. For instance, ________0 | | | | I went into point area and selected point and it wasnt displaying them or giving me options. Quote
ReMark Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 What are you drawing? What are these "points" you keep mentioning? Quote
bjenk8100 Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 that drawing in my post got messed up. I am drawing a simple truss system and want each member intersection divided with a joint/point/small solid circle/etc. I will try my drawing again... /0\ /0\ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \/ \ something like that. Also, How can i attach images from my dwg so you can see that instead? Any help would be appreciated! Brian Quote
bjenk8100 Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 that drawing got messed up too. Just imagine a truss and the intersections divided by a point. those that are engineers imagine an engineeering statics college textbook problem. Quote

ReMark Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Maybe you thought AutoCAD wasn't displaying the point because you could not see it. Refer to your Help file and look at the POINT command for further details. Quote
