caddiva
Hi! Anyone know why as I am working on a drawing it becomes write protected? It happened last week and today again. I suspect some lisp routine going on, but I am not sure. I am working from a network server...So.. thanks!
ReMark
Have you asked your IT department?
caddiva
I did ask "the cad manager", his suggestion was for me to work from the local drive....In my humble opinion, not very practical....
Nellie
When that happens to me it normaly means I'm working on a read only drawing. Try saving as something else.
caddiva
Thanks Nellie..but that I know. What I do not know is WHY a drawing i AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON, changes...I think I did not make myself clear...
ReMark
Working off a copy saved to one's hard drive is the most efficient way to edit a drawing. I never edit drawings that reside on the network. It's just one more obstacle (speed) to surmount.
