ReMark Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 The circles represent holes through the object. I took a quick look at your drawing and I see a couple of errors. Top view. The front edge of the upper section needs to come out closer to the front edge of the bottom section. The space you have shown is way too much. Front view. There should be no gap between the top and bottom sections. Remember that you are viewing the object "head on". You would not see that little "shelf" where the top section steps back from the bottom section. I'm in a bit of a rush and must leave for a short while. When I return I will take a closer look. Don't give up. I have confidence in you. Quote

Tiger Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Please please please Cute_Eng, use whole words - 'U', 'ur', 'i' instead of 'I', no punctuation and no capitals are annoying when trying to figure out what you are asking for Quote

ReMark Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 This is what I meant: BTW, you need to depict hidden lines as well. I did the best I could with the fuzzy images you attached at the beginning of your thread. I could be off a bit dimensionally. Quote
cute eng Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 i do it thank u my dear check it please and then where i draw the hatch ? and i must draw the center lines Quote
rkent Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 i do it and then where i draw the hatch ? and i must draw the center lines The hatch goes where the section line would actually cut through the object. So it cuts through the protruding part with the slot and it cuts through the lower shelf. Since the cut line is going through the holes, those hidden lines in the front view become continuous lines, and no hatch since you would see the back of the hole and not the cut material. Show the section line in the top view with the arrows pointing back as they show in the iso you are working from. The front view could now be labeled Section A-A Quote

rkent Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 check it here The holes on the vertical don't share the same center line as the ones in the horizontal shelf, note the jog in the section line in the iso view. I have a hard time reading the image you posted but I would guess the holes in the bottom part share the same center as the radius fillet they are near. Quote

rkent Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 i didnt understand what do u mean can u explain it in the picture ? You need to try looking at the iso you posted, it depicts a solid object. There is a section line that is an imaginary line where the object would be cut in half. The arrows of the section line show which way you would look at the cut away piece. Now imagine what would actually be cut and what would not. The areas that would be touched by a cutting blade are where you would hatch. The holes in the bottom part of the object are centered on the fillet and not lined up with the holes in the vertical part. I guess I won't post any more pics as I feel we have almost done the whole thing for you at this point. Read carefully what I have posted while observing the iso drawing and remember the iso is depicting a real solid object. Quote
