line thicknesses in black and white printing

Recommended Posts

Posted

I am using autocad LT with a Canon ix4000 colour printer.

I need to print some .dwgs in black and white which I can do by ticking the greyscale box in printer properties, but the problem I have is that the lines thicknesses are wrong.

Any suggestions?

Line thickness or width can be controlled in a number of ways.

Polylines can be assigned a width in the drawing itself.

Layers can be assigned lineweights in the Layer Properties Manager dialog window.

Your ctb or stb file can also be used to assign lineweight.

Where do you normally assign lineweight or width. In your drawing or via your ctb or stb plot style?
