Helo!

Any chance that this could be done without using the rotate command, (reference).

What I had in mind is something like activating command selecting the object, selecting the base point and rotate it to horizontal line.

This could be done using match properties if you only had match angle commad or something like this.

Could this be done?

Have you considered using the ALIGN command?

What's wrong with the ROTATE command anyway?

ALIGN is slower in this case than rotate reference.

Rotate reference takes 6 clicks, I would like to do with one. I know I sound greedy, but I have 200 or 300 to align per project so something like this would come in hanndy.

Even with lisp, I don't think it can be done with just one click. But if anyone can do it, Lee Mac can.

I have moved this question to the Lisp section.

What type object(s) are you rotating?

What type object are you rotating/ aligning to?

Will all the objects to be rotated need to be rotated the same angle?

Perhaps a DWG with a before & after example?

Don't be stingy. Can you share the secret?

I convinced the guy who was sending me the drawings that I have an bug in Autocad when using rotate command that causes program to crash. So I kindly asked him to do the job and then deliver ;-)
