"HIDDEN2" is usually what I use for a hidden line. The display of the "dotted line" is also relative to a few other factors on the screen, such as LTSCALE, MSLTSCALE, and PSLTSCALE settings. There is also a "DOTTED" linetype, but usually it doesn't show up very well on the screen. So, best thing to do is to either (1) set the layer to HIDDEN2 instead of ByLayer or (2) select the line and set it to HIDDEN2 from the Properties drop down menu. This is after you load the HIDDEN2 linetype. If you're drawing these lines too big or too small, then you need to adjust the LTSCALE system variable so the "dashed lines" show up properly. Hope this helps. Quote
metalhead Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Tks! finally able to draw a dashed line instead of a full line! Quote
Tankman Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 I too use, LOAD, HIDDEN2 for dashed (hidden) lines. Adjust scale in properties to the view you want to see. Quote
