Insert Character Dtext

I want to insert a special character in DTEXT, is it at all possible?

If you start the mtext command and click the symbol button, you can see some aliases for symbols. So in DTEXT, typing %%C, you will get a Diameter symbol, for example.

I am looking at inserting the symbol for microfarad using DTEXT. I know I can do it with MTEXT.

I was just suggesting that if you find the character you want in Mtext, then you can find the code for it (either in the inital view list or 'other' and hover over the symbol you want) and use that code in DTEXT.

Typing in '\U+03BCF' works for me Mike.
