BIGMIKE09281946 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I want to insert a special character in DTEXT, is it at all possible? Quote
sparklerach Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 If you start the mtext command and click the symbol button, you can see some aliases for symbols. So in DTEXT, typing %%C, you will get a Diameter symbol, for example. Quote
BIGMIKE09281946 Posted November 24, 2009 Author Posted November 24, 2009 I am looking at inserting the symbol for microfarad using DTEXT. I know I can do it with MTEXT. Quote
sparklerach Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I was just suggesting that if you find the character you want in Mtext, then you can find the code for it (either in the inital view list or 'other' and hover over the symbol you want) and use that code in DTEXT. Quote
bonehead411 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Typing in '\U+03BCF' works for me Mike. Quote
