Valce
Hi! When I copy paste something in AutoCAD with OSNAP on, I can snap the pasted object to whatever location I choose... But how do I choose the point on the pasted object that is snapping? For example, if I am pasting hexagons, how do I tell AutoCAD to use the top vertex of the pasted hexagon as the snap point for pasting? It seems to be fairly random which point is used as a snap point on the pasted object, but I'm sure it's not supposed to be... Thanks! -V
lpseifert
Either use the Copy command and snap to an intersection for the base point or use Copybase and snap to an intersection.

Patrick Hughes
You can also change the GRIPBLOCK variable from 0 to 1 which then allows grips within block objects. This can get rather cumbersome in a heavily populated block.
Strix
and you do know you can toggle through OSNAPs with the tab key?
