Hi,

I have created a complex shape (like the front section of a ship) made up of 4 meshes made using the edgesurf command. (almost gave me a nervous breakdown!)

I then used the subtract command to remove pieces of the this shape with solid shapes (ACAD converted the mesh to a 'surface' before the subtract command would work).

I would now like to add in some floors but cannot find a away of trimming a planar surface to match the outline of the shape I have created. I have tried using a planar surface and the intersect command but with no success. but it does look like intersect would work if I new what I was doing

I would also like to convert the surface to a solid and give it some depth (say 20mm as the model is of a glass building) but I cannot convert the surface to a solid.

Any advice greatly appreciated

David
